Welcome 5A Parents and Students

I believe that teaching is a calling and it is the job of the teacher (parents I am including you in this too!) to call each of their students to personal as well as academic excellence.

This website will provide you with a glimpse into your child's day and keep you abreast of what is going on in the classroom.  It is a vehicle for communication between home and school.  I can be reached at school by phone (717.755-1797), by sending a note in with your child, or by email staub@sjy.org .  I check e-mail regularly and will respond to you as soon as I am able.  Please do not hesitate to contact me.

About Mrs. Staub

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, it is obvious that I bleed black and gold!  I love my hometown and more importantly I love my Steelers (Stillers to those of you from the Burg).  I attended California University of PA (aka Harvard on the Mon) where I earned a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education.  It was there that I also found my way back to the faith that I hold so dear to my heart.  It was also during this time that I met and married my husband, Tim.  God has blessed our marriage with five absolutely fantastic children: (I am not biased) Kaitlyn, Dylan, Ryland, Claire, and Ian.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, doing home remodeling projects (live and learn) and just relaxing!
