Computer Curriculums

1 COMPUTER CURRICULUM

While this page provides more of a resource than an actual lesson plan, nevertheless it can be used as a curriculum outline for grades 4 and up. Key skills addressed include keyboarding, identifying major parts of a computer, understanding common uses of a computer (spreadsheets, databases, graphics, etc.), file folders, commands, and more.
2 North Carolina Computer Course of Study - contains curriculum AND links to lessons that address each strand.
3. Forest Middle School - contains technology lessons and links to the curriculum strand that each lesson addresses.
4 ISTE - National EducationTechnology Standards  - The primary goal of the ISTE NETS Project is to enable stakeholders in PreK-12 education to develop national standards for educational uses of technology that facilitate school improvement in the United States. The NETS Project will work to define standards for students, integrating curriculum technology, technology support, and standards for student assessment and evaluation of technology use.
