Alphabet - We will learn our alphabet letters through songs and multi-sensory experiences.  By the end of the year, the four year old classes will have compiled an alphabet folder full of letters!

Assessment  -  Social and academic progress is assessed in varied ways.  Methods include:  teacher observation, checklists, portfolios, rubrics and running records.

Absences  -  If your child will be absent from school, please notify the school office (755-1797). A written excuse or email stating the reason for the absence should be presented when the child returns to school.

Bair and Bria  -  Mrs. Marie Bair and Mrs. Patti Bria -  the teacher and the aide.  Click on our names to see how we looked  during our "early years".  We were cute!

Creativity  abounds!  We paint with sponges, combs, brushes, Q-tips, and fingers!  Our artwork is always on display outside of our classroom.

Dress comfortably. -  Label all sweaters and coats.  Remember, we get messy in preschool.  Please have your child wear shoes that are conducive to running and playing.

Field Trips -    Our next field trip will be coming to us!  A guest speaker from the Solid Waste Authority will visit in January and help us learn about recycling.  We will use old scrap paper to make new sheets of paper.

Guest Reader Program -  Parents of our three old class are encouraged to read to us!  Invitations will be sent home in early December.     Please contact us if you are interested in sharing your love of reading with us.

Health Issues - Please inform us in writing of any allergies or health concerns.  If your child is sick with fever, he must stay home.

     JESUS   is the center of all that we do.  Parents are reminded that Eucharistic Adoration is held every Thursday in our daily Mass chapel from 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Library  - The four year old classes  visit weekly.    The 4 AM class will visit on Friday mornings. The 4 PM class will visit on Thursday afternoons. Please be sure to return your books each week.  Thank You!
M Multisensory experiences - We incorporate all of the senses into our units.

Religion series -  designed especially for preschoolers by the Brown and Roa (Harcourt) Company  The children will receive and bring home a Scripture card each week.  Take time to read and pray using these cards.

Show and Tell  -  Each month, the children will bring an item to show and describe.  Show and Tell is an important part of developing oral language skills and confidence in young children. Click to view the latest schedule.

Snacks  -  Parents are asked periodically to send in a snack.  You will receive a snack request form in your child's book bag.

PRE K 3 meets on T and TH from 9:00 - 11:15 AM.
PRE K AM 4 meets on M, W, F from 9:00 - 11:15 AM. 
PRE K PM 4 meets on M, T, W, Th from 12:30 - 2:45.
