Alphabet - We will learn our alphabet letters through songs and multi-sensory experiences.  By the end of the year, the four year old classes will have compiled an alphabet folder full of letters!

Assessment  -  Social and academic progress is assessed in varied ways.  Methods include:  teacher observation, checklists, portfolios, rubrics and running records.

Absences  -  If your child will be absent from school, please notify the school office (755-1797). A written excuse or email stating the reason for the absence should be presented when the child returns to school.

Creativity  abounds!  We paint with sponges, combs, brushes, Q-tips, and fingers!  Our artwork is always on display outside of our classroom. Check out our latest seeds and plants kidwriting!

Dress comfortably. -  Label all sweaters and coats.  Remember, we get messy in preschool.  Please have your child wear shoes that are conducive to running and playing.

Field Trips -    Our first trip will be to Brown's Orchard in Loganville on Wednesday, September 22.

Guest Reader Program -  Parents of our four year old classes are encouraged to read to us!  What a creative group our parents are!  Invitations were emailed to parents during the first week of October.  Please contact us if you are interested in sharing your love of reading with us.

Health Issues - Please inform us in writing of any allergies or health concerns.  If your child is sick with fever, he must stay home.  This year, we will maintain a "peanut free" classroom due to severe allergies.

     JESUS   is the center of all that we do.  Parents are reminded that Eucharistic Adoration is held every Thursday in our daily Mass chapel from 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Library  - The four year old classes  visit weekly.    The 4 AM class will visit on Friday mornings. The 4 PM class will visit on Thursday afternoons. Please be sure to return your books each week.  Thank You!
M Multisensory experiences - We incorporate all of the senses into our units.

Outdoor Fun -  weather permitting    During the cold months, please send a hat and mittens to school with your child.

Religion series -  designed especially for preschoolers by the Brown and Roa (Harcourt) Company  The children will receive and bring home a Scripture card each week.  Take the time to read and pray using these cards.

Show and Tell  -  Each month, the children will bring an item to show and describe.  Show and Tell is an important part of developing oral language skills and confidence in young children. Click to view the latest schedule.

Time -  AM session 9:00 - 11:15   PM session 12:30-2:45    Thank you for being prompt when dropping off and picking up your child.

Unique  -  Understanding that each child is unique and is a work in progress!

Volunteers  -  Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help by making play dough, reading to our classes, driving on field trips, helping with the Preschool Olympics, and supporting us with prayers.

Wish List:  buttons of all sizes and shapes,  magna doodles and Lincoln logs.  We can always use sidewalk chalk and hula hoops.  Thank You!
